Trash Cans or Garbage Cans are objects found in the Big-City in Donkey Kong for the Game Boy, and in the game's sequel, Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Mario can stand on them to reach higher areas, but he can also pick them up and throw them at enemies like Rappies to defeat them. Some enemies like the Faiachūs cannot be defeated by Trash Cans, however. Once a Trash Can hits an enemy, it falls through the ground and cannot be used again.

There are also enemies disguised as Trash Cans known as Dasutoman and Baketsuman.
