The team emblem and logo for the Peach Monarchs in Mario Super Sluggers.

The Peach Monarchs is a team name for both Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers, led by Princess Peach. For both games, this is considered to be the primary team name that is shown as the player selects characters during game setup except Mario Super Sluggers, in which this is the only team name.

History

Mario Superstar Baseball

In the Mario Superstar Baseball game, the team does have a few alternate names, including Peach Roses, Peach Princesses, and Peach Dynasties. During Exhibition Mode, the Team Members can be chosen by the player, but in Challenge Mode, the team is set, with only certain characters being on the team. However, the team members can be chosen after beating other Teams. Peach Garden is the Peach Monarchs stadium, which is also set just outside Peach's garden.

Team Members

The Peach Monarchs is considered to be one of the least widespread teams. It consists of five different kinds of players, alongside the Mario Sunshines team, and the Yoshi Islanders team. The Team Players consist of Toads on her team, with two of them being notable: Toadsworth and Toadette. Toadette is also unlockable, and will be unlocked if Challenge Mode is beaten as the Peach Monarchs. Overall, the team roster consists of:

Mario Super Sluggers

The Peach Monarchs team makes a reappearance in Mario Super Sluggers, once again led by Princess Peach, the team captain. As mentioned earlier, this is the only team name shown when Peach is chosen, and there are no alternates. In Challenge Mode, Peach has to be added to the overall roster first, then other specified Team Players must be found in order to create this valid team, which results in the following outcome:

They can all be found waiting to be added at the Peach Ice Garden.

Like with the predecessor, the Peach Monarchs is mostly composed of members of the Toad species, and nearly every player has good chemistry with Peach. The team also adds Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, and Petey Piranha to the mix, with Baby Peach sharing good chemistry with all the Toads, except for Toadette.

In Exhibition Mode, the player can choose any other Team Captains/Team Players during setup, just as long as Peach is chosen to be the main Team Captain prior to it.
