Heart Ball is the name of the Special Ball that Peach uses in Mario Superstar Baseball. When pitching, Peach will throw the ball with many scattered hearts on it. This will disguise the ball and confuse the batter on where the ball actually is.
If Peach is batting, she will hit the ball with scattered hearts surrounding it. This will also confuse the opponents on where the ball is while it is disguised in the hearts. However, as it moves closer to the ground, the hearts will disappear, and reveal the real ball.
In Challenge Mode the player must buy the Lovely Heart in order for Peach to learn to pitch the Heart Ball.
Mario Super Sluggers
This Star Pitch returns in Mario Super Sluggers, where like in the predecessor, Peach will scatter hearts around the ball to confuse the batter. However, it's still possible to get a ball with this move, instead of a strike.
