| To get to the waterfall, the player needs to climb up the mountain's cliff-side directly in front of them. [[Mario]] needs to make use of [[lift]]s, [[Wall Jump]]s, and [[F.L.U.D.D.]]'s [[Hover Nozzle]] to make it up to the top. Many of the platforms are also missing, and cleaning off the [[graffiti]] on the walls will make them reappear. As Mario climbs to the top, balls of graffiti will roll down, leaving trails of graffiti behind them and damaging Mario if he comes into contact with one. Near the top of the cliff, the player will meet a [[Noki Elder's Grandson|Noki]] that has provided a [[springboard]] for Mario to use to reach the platform above.

| At the top of the mountain is a Monty Mole in a [[cannon]], on top of a large cork blocking the waterfall's flow. When Mario is far away from it, the cannon will fire the balls of graffiti that have been rolling down the mountain. When Mario gets near, the Monty Mole will throw [[Bob-omb]]s, though if Mario gets too close, the Monty Mole will hide in the cannon. Spraying the Bob-ombs will enable Mario to pick them up and throw them at the Monty Mole. Blasting the Monty Mole three times will uncork the waterfall and reward the player with the [[Shine Sprite]].
