Template:Minigame-infobox Sweet Sleuth is a 4-player and a duel minigame appearing in Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on "sweet tooth", which is what someone fond of sweets is said to have.

Gameplay

A Shy Guy wants candies. The players must look through a candy dish, finding the candy that Shy Guy wants to the player to get.

If it's correct it will count as a score, if wrong, the player has to keep trying to get the right piece of candy or the character can't move on. There are many candies that look alike to one another, making it tricky. The Shy Guy will switch candies constantly and more candy will be placed in the bowl a few times. Whoever gives to Shy Guy the most amount of correct candies when the time ends, is the winner.

Controls

  • Stylus – Touch and Hold to drag a candy / Let go to drop a candy

In-game text

  • Rules"Give Shy Guy the candy he craves. Drag the correct candy out of the dish, then drop it in front of Shy Guy."
  • Tips"Study the dish selection closely before you select a candy. You want to pick the correct ones, and many candies look similar."
