Template:Item-infobox The Wing is an item that appears only in Super Mario Bros. Special. When Mario collects it, he is able to fly through the air using the game's swimming controls. However, the power up is only temporary, and if the player is not careful, Mario may fall somewhere undesirable once it expires.
It functions similarly to the P-Wing that was later introduced in Super Mario Bros. 3.
