Due to only appearing once in the original in a special encounter, it was considered a boss/character by this wiki, despite using regular enemy music. However, as the remake uses them as a generic enemy species, they seem more like a simple one-time encounter in the original, a la Elite Goombule, but without the tutorial aspect. Is it possible to get the piranha suit?

Status as a boss/character[edit]
