I think this page should be deleted. They're just generical platforms without even a name (and most likely an official name will never be created). It's like creating a page for the totems in [[World 2-2 (New Super Mario Bros. 2)|''New Super Mario Bros. 2'' World 2-2]] or the bony platforms in ''New Super Mario Bros. Wii/2''. :::I agree that this should be deleted. They don't serve any purpose except act as simple moving platforms. There are also dancing mushroom platforms, see-saw platforms, bouncy platforms, moving platforms controlled by the player etc., all of which are mentioned in their respective articles of the stages in which they appeared. Sure, they're based on real-life sculptures, but I don't see a reason to create an article on platforms that simply sink or fall in quicksand which are better off mentioned in the article of the stage they appear in. {{user:Mario jc/sig}}

Keeping this would be creating articles on each variation of the ground. I fully support deletion. {{User:Creeper/sig}}

Well, lookie here! [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi7UcLkQvuo] This video on the official New Super Mario Bros. U YouTube channel's description gives these "Moai Heads" a new name '''Stone-Eyes'''. There is also another video description here. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TLbd7xoSBU] Well, we have a page for [[Donut Lift]]s, so why don't we add these (the main reason why it was deleted is that it has no official name) {{User:YoshiCookie/sig}}
:From what I recall, this article was deleted because it's simply another platform that doesn't really serve a special purpose. Donut Lifts, though, actually serve a purpose, which is collapsing under a certain time. I think Moai Heads appear only in a few levels, and they're aren't special enough to warrant an article. {{User:LeftyGreenMario/sig}} 21:54, 21 March 2013 (EDT)

I think this page should be deleted. They're just generical platforms without even a name (and most likely an official name will never be created). It's like creating a page for the totems in New Super Mario Bros. 2 World 2-2 or the bony platforms in New Super Mario Bros. Wii/2. Koopa Troopa from Super Paper Mario. MegaKoopa Talk 12:59, 19 September 2012 (EDT)

Difference is, these platforms have different traits, appearances and functions. They also kind of count as living, too. DonnyKD (talk) 13:13, 19 September 2012 (EDT)
The totems in Tippin' Totems have traits, appearances and functions, too, but all they do is already written in the level page. Koopa Troopa from Super Paper Mario. MegaKoopa Talk 18:45, 19 September 2012 (EDT)
I agree that this should be deleted. They don't serve any purpose except act as simple moving platforms. There are also dancing mushroom platforms, see-saw platforms, bouncy platforms, moving platforms controlled by the player etc., all of which are mentioned in their respective articles of the stages in which they appeared. Sure, they're based on real-life sculptures, but I don't see a reason to create an article on platforms that simply sink or fall in quicksand which are better off mentioned in the article of the stage they appear in. Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC
I think it should be merged with the level articles for their respective games.

I think it should be deleted. The reason is the same as Megakoopa's.

Keeping this would be creating articles on each variation of the ground. I fully support deletion. PikaSamus (talk)

Recreate?[edit]

Well, lookie here! [1] This video on the official New Super Mario Bros. U YouTube channel's description gives these "Moai Heads" a new name Stone-Eyes. There is also another video description here. [2] Well, we have a page for Donut Lifts, so why don't we add these (the main reason why it was deleted is that it has no official name) YoshiCookie (talk) 10:15, 10 December 2015 (EST)

From what I recall, this article was deleted because it's simply another platform that doesn't really serve a special purpose. Donut Lifts, though, actually serve a purpose, which is collapsing under a certain time. I think Moai Heads appear only in a few levels, and they're aren't special enough to warrant an article.
