4koma Manga Kingdom (4コマまんが王国, Yonkoma Manga Ōkoku, translates roughly to Four-Panel Manga Kingdom) is a series of Japanese comedy manga book anthologies, written and illustrated by various artists, and published by Futabasha. Futabasha published various mangas for various different video games, from 1991 to either 2003 or 2004. They published various books based on Mario titles. The premise of the books is that they are composed of many short, brief stories told exclusively in the format of four panels, a format which is called Yonkoma in Japan.
An altogether different series of books exists, with the same premise and a similar title, named 4-koma Gag Battle, for which this series is commonly confused with. The similar, Super Mario 4koma Manga Theater exists with the same premise, but that was only published throughout 1993.
