Featured articles
I'm not sure what you mean exactly with your latest "ditto" vote, but I would strongly advise against supporting featured article nominations just because you like the subject in the future, since what matters is the article's quality. You should see MarioWiki:Featured articles for more info on how the process works. Nightwicked Bowser 11:39, September 24, 2021 (EDT)
Uploads
Hello, OhoJeeOnFire. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the aboutfile template, replacing the uncategorized template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: or Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Hello, OhoJeeOnFire. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the aboutfile template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded syntax is shown below. Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line for the parameter(s) you don't use. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using aboutfile incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
A few more things:
- You shouldn't upload full spritesheets to the wiki; it's recommended you crop the ones you need and upload them separately (the ones that would be worth having are the damage and shell sprites).
- Don't upload duplicate files. If you needed to change the name, use the "move" button at the top of the file page.

This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Not only did you continue to upload full spritesheets, you still didn't categorise any one of your uploads. You need to replace uncategorized with
. There were also a number of problems with the images, and I'm not sure what you did to save your images or what program you used to crop, but:
- You uploaded in jpg but the original sprites were png. They should be saved in the original format, otherwise it adds jpg artifacts to the sprites.
- The sheets were way smaller than the original. To get the original size, you had to click on the "Download this sheet" link or right-click the image and select "Save image as..."
- The cropped sprites left some background colour behind. Again, I don't know what program you used, but you can use Photoshop or even a simpler program like Paint.net and use the magic wand tool to easily remove the background without any problems.
Responding to your post, there's no need to upload every single frame of a character's animation. One or a few of the key ones (idle sprite, damaged sprite etc.) is enough to show what the character looks like. Mario JC 20:34, October 6, 2021 (EDT)
Stubs
One or more pages that you have recently created have been deleted or marked as a stub article (Gentle Slope and Steep Slope). Please consider the following ideas and suggestions when expanding/creating an article:

There is way more information that can be added than just the Super Mario Maker 2 info. If you need more time, work on the article(s) in your sandbox. Also, one thing worth noting is that navigation templates (such as Template:SMM2) should not be substituted; just add SMM2
to the bottom of the page. Thanks! (T|C) 16:21, October 7, 2021 (EDT)
Formatting
You don't need to link to the same subject multiple times in a paragraph. Only one link is enough (see MarioWiki:Manual of Style#Linking, linking, linking!). Also, there have been some instances where you didn't do this but so it's clear, game titles need to be italicised (e.g. Super Mario 3D World should be formatted as Super Mario 3D World - see MarioWiki:Manual of Style#Italicizing titles). Mario JC 22:23, October 7, 2021 (EDT)
- Also, game titles should always be written in full rather than abreviated like "SMB" for Super Mario Bros. Nightwicked Bowser 11:36, October 8, 2021 (EDT)
- Game titles need to be italicised in section headers as well, and you need to capitalise the first letter for image captions just like normal sentences. Nightwicked Bowser 13:41, October 8, 2021 (EDT)
Main reason
The only reason why I only put information about the slopes in Super Mario Maker 2 is because these slopes are peaceable parts and I only wanted to separate the information about just that. I don’t have any more information about slopes. That’s all I know.

Identifiers
Identifiers in article titles are only used if the title is shared with another article on the wiki, which wasn't the case with Slope or Bridge. I understand the latter was already a redirect link, but that could still be converted from a redirect into the intended article. Nightwicked Bowser 12:40, October 8, 2021 (EDT)
Your username
As a connoisseur of usernames that end on "OnFire", welcome to the family. Ray Trace(T|C) 13:07, October 12, 2021 (EDT)
Userspace
Please read MarioWiki:Userspace#What about user subpages? If anyone wants to make a friend request, they can do it here on the main talk page. Mario JC 08:13, October 21, 2021 (EDT)
- Yeah, but what if I want to separate the friend requests from normal messages? —- OhoJeeOnFire (talk) 08:16, October 21, 2021 (EDT)
I do not think that is aloud the friend requests go on the normal talk page. For example: Do you want to friend me? (for real) Bubbasour11
- Sure! Let’s be friends. —- OhoJeeOnFire (talk) 10:38, October 21, 2021 (EDT)
I will ad your userbox when I have time mine is on my usepage. Bubbasour11
