Welcome to my userpage! I'm CrystalYoshi (I like crysals and I like the Yoshis so there you go-- A good name for me!). I used to be called Orangeyoshi, but I think my new name is better. So all you who remember someone new sneaking around the wiki, and his name was Orangeyoshi, that's me. And when my name changed, my Yoshi color changed, from orange (obviously) to light blue. I'm a boy in middle school, and I like playing Mario games on the weekends, and I like to learn about Mario. I don't contribute too much to the articles besides fixing people's spelling and grammar mistakes, but I'm starting to do more. I mostly just add to article talk pages and vote and comment in proposals. I've been here a few months.

Oh, and by the way, I like it when people talk to me. So leave a comment if you have anything to say! Whenever I see that "you have new messages" thing, I get all exited and start thinking, "Who is it?" What did they have to say?" And I get so eager. So I appreciate comments.

Mario games, characters, and stuff that I like

This dinosaur from Super Mario World is cool.

I have a Nintendo DS and a Wii, and I used to have a Game Boy Advance. Despite my username, I like Mario games just as much as Yoshi games.

• I like 2D platformers the best, like the Super Mario World series for GBA, Super Mario Bros. 3 (for GBA and later, Virtual Console), and the DS mario platformers.
• I also like some RPG games, like Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (but NOT M&L: Partners in Time), Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Super Paper Mario.
• I don't love the 3D platformers quite as much: Super Mario Galaxy was really good, but the others were just "pretty good."
• Yoshi's Island (the game) is better than the sequel, YI DS! So the DS sequel had a few more babies. The original had items, more levels, more fun levels, and playing it just made me feel happier somehow.
• I can't believe I'm saying something so incredifly shocking and subversive, but I don't like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Yep, that's right. It has crude humor in it (I hate crude humor in video games!) and I'm not a fan of fighting games.

Okay, enough about games. Now, for my favorite characters. If you're interested in what characters I like, then read it. If you're not interested, don't read it.

• My favorite character: (as you may have guessed) Yoshi
• I also like the few main characters, like Mario, Luigi, and Toad.
• Favorite female character: Princess Peach. (How come everyone likes Princess Daisy? Daisy is NOT pretty!)

And something else: I like the color yellow as well as orange. There should be a yellow mushroom, but I don't know what it should do. I also think Mario and Luigi would look cool in orange and blue clothes. Or in each other's clothes! (I tried to make pictures of that in Photoshop, but I don't know how to manipualte images well and my Photoshop trial period will expire in a few days.)

Sprites

Finally happened; Storm Yoshi made some for me. I haven't really put them to use yet. Go here to see them and for information. I'm not expecting this, but if anyone wanted to use them for something, ask me first.

Images

There are some images I recently, while surfing, found that aren't on the MarioWiki that should be. They're from Super Mario Sunshine, one of the red toad and one of a pianta. I found the images on the gamehiker wiki, and I was going to upload them, but I know there's a "fair use" rule, and I think they would be okay but I'm not sure. The Toad is here and the pianta is here. I'd like it if someone told me just so I could be sure.

Sig

I know it's annoying, but I feel like changing my sig again. No one knows what a Dino Rhino is, because I've noticed the majority of users haven't played Super Mario World (or the remake). Maybe I'll add an item or something. 08:19, 30 March 2008 (EDT)
