Stamp Out! is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 4. Its name is a play on a phrase that means "to put out or extinguish by stepping on forcefully with the feet" or "to stop or destroy by force."

Introduction

A drawing pad, alongside an assortment of toy-like objects, falls onto a carpet-like floor. The four players piloting stamp machines then fall onto the drawing pad, starting the minigame.

Gameplay

Each player starts off on a special machine that looks like a pogo stick on top of a giant stamp. A giant board is under the characters, ready to be stamped on. Each machine produces a different color stamp, and the goal is to be the one with the most amount of color on the board. To move, players must jump from place to place, leaving behind a trail of color as they do so. Naturally, the longer players charge their jump, the farther they will jump. Players can also go over existing marks with their own. At the end, whoever shows the most color is the winner. However, if everyone prints less than 5%, the minigame ends in a draw.

Controls

  • Control Stick – Change direction
  • A Button – Jump

In-game text

  • Game Rules"Try to stamp as much of your color as possible. If everyone stamps less than 5% of the field, it's a tie!"
  • Advice"Holding A Button longer allows you to jump farther. Experiment to find a pattern that works for you."
