In this form, Yoshi can bore through rocks; the smaller rocks take one hit to break, while the larger rocks take three, and the largest rocks take six. Like other Yoshi forms, this form has a limited time, and while clocks can be collected, the only way to exit the form is to make it to the ring at the end. Player 1 has orange digging feet and whiskers while player 2 has lavender ones.

Mole Yoshi is a Transformation Door transformation in Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, in the levels Duplicitous Delve and A-Mazing Post Pounding. It is derived from the Mole Tank form from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Jackhammer Yoshi from Yoshi's New Island.
