The turning platforms built into the side of Tick Tock Clock in SM64 are referred to as "rotating bars" on page 113 in The Super Mario 64 Player's Guide, and since this is an attested name, I think it should be given priority for its use over a conjecturally-applied title for a different object. Should the current topic of this article be moved to a "Rotating bar (Super Mario Odyssey)" or be given a different name entirely? Thoughts? - Nintendo101 (talk) 20:07, December 15, 2023 (EST) |

Just like "yellow piece of the maze", this name feels much more like a generic description than an actual name. I think we should change it. S o m e t h i n g o n e ! 09:06, August 8, 2022 (EDT)
- The internal name for the cross/clock part is "PoleGrabCeilExClockParts000", meanwhile the red bar itself is the same as the ones from earlier in the section, "PoleGrabCeil", among other related objects. Since the Prima guide on page 145 refers to the area as "a series of moving red bars" and the bar on the clock part is "a bar on the rotating contraptions" then goes on to mention just the bars, I think this can be easily renamed and expanded as "Bar (Super Mario Odyssey)" in general rather than letting it be a separate article. - Can't we use Set of bars as it's called in a Prima guide? It's a fine name in my opinion, considering Nintendo used "of" while naming objects in the past (Suit of armor) Spectrogram (talk) 11:23, September 11, 2022 (EDT)
