The goal is to get to the top of the tower, avoiding obstacles, before the [[lava]] catches up to the [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]]. This level's playable Yoshi is the black Yoshi.
==Layout==
The level starts in a tower with rising lava and enemies, with a [[Stork Stop]] nearby. Yoshi must avoid some more enemies and obstacles, and soon reaches an area with number platforms and even more enemies. Soon after, Yoshi can enter a door in an area with spikes and [[Scorchit]]s to get outside to the [[Goal Ring|goal roulette]].


'''Welcome to Yoshi Tower!''' is the bonus level of World 1 in ''[[Yoshi's Island DS]]'' and, to most, was the first level in which [[Black Yoshi]] appeared. The goal is to get to the top of the tower, avoiding obstacles, before the lava catches up to the Black Yoshi. Throughout the level, the constantly rising lava is an added obstacle. Despite the name, Yoshis do not populate the place and actually, enemies of Yoshi populate this place. It is instead full of [[Shy Guy]]s. The background shows the Shy Guys looking as if they're learning on how to defeat Yoshi. Through the level, Yoshi has to jump on [[Goonie]]s, and [[Bullet Bill]]s avoid Shy Guys, [[Spear Guy]]s and spikes to get to the top. There is no middle ring in this level, and there are barely enough stars hidden inside Winged ? Clouds. To complete the level more easily, it is wise to bring a few red eggs, so that extra stars can be created by shooting them at enemies.

Welcome to Yoshi Tower! is the secret course of World 1 in Yoshi's Island DS. The goal is to get to the top of the tower, avoiding obstacles, before the lava catches up to the Yoshi. This level's playable Yoshi is the black Yoshi.

Layout[edit]

The level starts in a tower with rising lava and enemies, with a Stork Stop nearby. Yoshi must avoid some more enemies and obstacles, and soon reaches an area with number platforms and even more enemies. Soon after, Yoshi can enter a door in an area with spikes and Scorchits to get outside to the goal roulette.
