Banking Coins is a 2-vs.-2 coin-collecting minigame in Mario Party 5.

Introduction[edit]

The red team is seen running from a collapsing bridge onto the platform where the minigame is played.

Gameplay[edit]

Each team is placed on a round platform with a vase floating above the middle. The goal is to hit the vase and collect the coins that bounce out. Sometimes, bags of coins worth five coins appear as well. Each platform tilts depending on where both players on each team are standing, so they must plan their movements to prevent it from tilting too much. If a player falls off the platform, they have to wait for Lakitu to bring them back up before they can start playing again. The players keep whatever coins they collect in the minigame.

Controls[edit]

In-game text[edit]

  • Rules"One player hits the vase to get coins, while the other player collects them."
