Also like in the other worlds, [[T.T.]] walks around the center of the Dino Domain's hub, and the player can bump into him to review their game progress. In the Nintendo 64 version of the game, it is the only world to have all its racetracks playing different tunes.

The boss of Dino Domain is required to be fought two times during the game. The first time after the player won on all tracks, and a second time after all the [[Silver Coin]] challenges are completed. The race itself takes place on a road that spirals it way up a mountain. The player has to beat Tricky the Triceratops in a race to the summit. Along the way, boulders will roll down the mountain that can flatten the racer. Several stone pillars may also collapse and block part of the way. If the player is not careful, Tricky may trample over the racer and slow them down. After the boss is defeated two times, the player receives a part of the [[Wizpig Amulet]].

The challenge of Fire Mountain takes place in a volcanic area. The center of the arena houses eggs that can be picked up by a racer's plane. The racer has to carry the egg to his nest located in one of the four corners of the arena. By doing so, the egg will start to hatch. An unhatched egg can be picked up by an opponent who will take it to his or her own nest. After an egg has spent enough time in a racers nest, it will hatch, meaning that it can no longer be taken by anyone. The player who hatches three eggs first, wins.
