The untitled Super Mario film is an animated follow-up to The Super Mario Bros. Movie produced by Nintendo in collaboration with Universal Pictures and Illumination, co-produced by Super Mario franchise creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Illumination co-founder Chris Meledandri. It was announced on March 10, 2024 (on Mario Day), and is set to be released on April 3, 2026. This marks the second collaboration with Illumination.[1]
