POOF! Badge Challenge Crouching High Jump I is a Badge Challenge course in Shining Falls of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is unlocked after getting the Wonder Seed at Master Poplin's House and its completion unlocks the path to The Midway Trial: Hop to It, and thus is the only Badge Challenge course that is required to complete the game. It contains one Wonder Seed.
Layout
The course starts with a Long ? Block out of reach of a simple jump, making the use of the badge necessary. This idea is reiterated throughout the course with very tall Trompettes, which can only be defeated with the crouch jump. Near the end, a taller Trompette appears that can only be cleared by crouch jumping on a semisolid platform. Shortly after, another jump from a Trompette is enforced to get the top of the Goal Pole and complete the course.
10-flower coins
- 10-flower coin 1: Found on top of the first and only purple Trompette. It can be collected by jumping on said Trompette.
- 10-flower coin 2: Found shortly after, moving on a circular path. The player needs to use the crouch jump to collect it.
- 10-flower coin 3: Found above the Goal Pole.
