Hello there, UberMan! Welcome to the Super Mario Wiki! A neat, cool community knowledge-base just for the Marioverse. We're glad to have you as a member. If you have any questions, just post it on the FAQ talk page or ask an experienced member (such as myself) and/or Sysop. If you have a problem contacting a Sysop, you can ask me. The following articles contain guidance and information about reading, authoring, and participating in the Super Mario Wiki community. If this is your first time visiting, please read our Introduction. How do I do that?

Categories You are welcome to browse through the following categories: External Resources MediaWiki User's Guide Things you can do Start an article. Create your user page. Communicate in our chatroom. Also, here's a list of tips to help you along on this site: Grammar. Be sure to use correct spelling and punctuation when writing on an article. It makes an article easier to read, and you'll be considered a good contributor. Italicize the titles of games and TV show episodes. Don't bold the title of the article in the article more than the first time you use the title in your article. Use links once per article. Add Needs to a Page. Be sure to include all the information you can in an article. You should also try to categorize and add images when possible. Also, if you're working on an article that will take a while to complete, add {{construction}} to the top of the article. Communicate. Talking with your fellow users is another way to help you get by on this site. Some just may want to be your friend as well! Other. Categorize uploaded images, but don't upload images you won't use. Don't use profanity on the site, and try to be kind to others. Don't create articles unless it is related to the Mario series, Yoshi series, Wario series, or the Donkey Kong series. An important thing to know is spam, which is what we Mario Wiki users don't want in this wiki. Spamming is usually called vandal, and it could happen at anytime. Blanking pages, adding pointless stuff (like "fjkgkojfhgkjfhkj"), or creating articles not related to the Mario/Yoshi/Donkey Kong/Wario series is spam. When editing articles, please use proper grammar (ie. capital letters, spelling, etc.) Also, please refrain from using "you" in articles (other than your userpage and your talk page); but in articles, replace "you"s with "the player". A place that we may want you to check out is Userpedia, a user-based wiki for users. Some users from here are at Userpedia; including myself, and we hope that you will come, too! Some of the same rules here apply at Userpedia, too, so don't spam or anything like that! If you want, you can get rid of this after reading it, just click "edit" at the top of the page. After all, your user space belongs to you. I hope this information is helpful, and that you'll have a great experience contributing to our knowledge-base and our community. Remember to enjoy your experience here and also have fun! Feel free to contact me at any time; I'm full of advice and information for any user, including you! |
