This is probably totally true. They took the name and transformed it since this boss is baron, and is cold, shown from the onomotopea brrr. This article says that Baron Brr is fought up by the summit, and that he starts shooting when Mario reaches the summit, when the summit is actually a bit higher than the area where Baron Brr is fought. This article be having one too many r's, sez I.
AKA: The star is 'The Frozen Peak of Baron Brr' and the official Strategy Guide calls him Baron Brr, so yeah, desperately needs fixing. Candle Jack
