Jump Charge is a Badge in Paper Mario. It can be bought from Rowf's Badge Shop for fifty coins. If Mario equips the Badge, he gains access to Charge, a jump attack that costs one FP to use. It acts as a weaker version of S. Jump Charge; when used, Mario powers up his jump attacks, gaining two attack points at the cost of using his turn to do so. If the move is used again, Mario's power is increased by another two points, and there is no limit to how many times he can use Charge. This also works in conjunction with S. Jump Chg. His next jump attack automatically uses all of his accumulated charge, and the charge is lost for every subsequent jump.

The Jump Charge badge does not reappear Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Instead, its function is merged with that of Smash Charge in the form of the Charge badge, raising Mario's jump and hammer power by 2 in a single move in his Tactics menu.
