Red Coins in the Yoshi-Go-Round,[1] also called A Spin on the Yoshi-Go-Round,[2] is the bonus tenth episode of Pinna Park in Super Mario Sunshine. It can be accessed by replaying The Yoshi-Go-Round's Secret.
Layout[edit]
Replaying this episode will allow Mario to use FLUDD and do a red coin challenge. A new Red Switch Plate is placed in the level after the set of six rotating cubes. By Ground Pounding it, eight red coins will appear throughout the course that the player must collect within a time limit of two minutes. Failing to collect the coins within the time limit will result in a life lost.
Two of the Red Coins are placed in the blue and black gates on the left side of the barrier in the middle of the rings of spotted platforms, and Mario can ride the respective colored cubes to collect them. Two of the Red Coins are in the Wall Jump section of the orange cube structure. One of the Red Coins is on a brick block behind the Wall Jump section of the orange cube structure. One of the Red Coins is above the orange cube that moves up and down on top of the orange cube structure, and becomes reachable when the orange cube reaches the top of its path. Two of the Red Coins are on an intermediate level of the orange cube structure, just below the orange cube that moves up and down. Collecting every Red Coin will cause a Shine Sprite to appear on one of the blocks on top of the Wall Jump section of the orange cube structure.
