BuckBombs[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its port. These robotic bomb chickens that appear as enemies during the Factory only. BuckBombs are the explosive counterpart to BuckBots, and they behave similarly to Bob-ombs. When the Kongs jump on a BuckBomb, it starts to glow red and beep, thus signaling their detonation. If the Kongs are caught within the blast radius from a BuckBomb exploding, they lose a heart. Alternatively, the Kongs can instantly defeat BuckBombs by rolling into them. Donkey Kong can pick up a BuckBomb and throw it at other enemies, including red Pyrobots.
