The Banana Fairy Princess,[1] also known as the Banana Fairy,[2] the Banana Fairy Queen,[3] the Fairy Queen,[4][5] or Mrs. Fairy,[6] is a non-playable character in Donkey Kong 64. She is the ruler of the Banana Fairies and bears the appearance of a regular one while being noticeably larger. The Banana Fairy Princess lives inside the giant fairy head of Banana Fairy Island, and she can be met only by Tiny Kong under the Mini-Monkey ability because of her small size. The Banana Fairy Princess is crying (the same sound effect is also used by the Mermaid in Gloomy Galleon), claiming that a large tremor scared away all the Banana Fairies. She then asks Tiny to help the other Kongs recover the Banana Fairies, and gives them the Banana Fairy's Camera and ten rolls of Banana Camera Film. The Banana Fairy Princess also provides the Super Slam, a powerful shockwave ability. Much later on, the Banana Fairy Princess opens a chamber with a unique Golden Banana bearing the Rare logo, if Tiny returns after having obtained every Banana Fairy.
