Spiders appear in the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2 as enemies in Aerial Loop and Submerged Stint, the first two challenges of Funky's Flights. Spiders shoot globs of webbing at the Gyrocopter to attack it while climbing along the walls, and their positioning inside of walls protects them from being shot with bullets from the Gyrocopter.
