Boss Sumo Bro Blitzers is a boss minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. In Party-Planner Trek, the boss is fought after at least 30 Mini Stars are collected on Roll 'em Raceway.

Introduction[edit]

At the very start of the minigame, Boss Sumo Bro lowers down to within view of the camera on his cloud and roars before stomping on his platform. This creates an electrical discharge at the opposite end of a disassembled circuit to where the characters are standing.

Gameplay[edit]

At the beginning of each round, Boss Sumo Bro stomps, creating an electrical charge at the far end of a disassembled circuit. Players have 45 seconds to reassemble the circuit to damage the boss. How many points players get depends on the order in which they complete the circuit: five points for the fastest, three points for the second-fastest, two points for the second-slowest, and a single point for the slowest. Players who fail to reassemble the circuit get attacked and lose three points.

Once the boss is at half health, four small-sized Sumo Bros. appear, one for each player. They regularly appear on their respective player's boards, striking a random tile and making it rotate clockwise 90 degrees.

Ending[edit]

Upon defeat, Boss Sumo Bro falls down from his platform as his minions follow suit, only to be blown back by an explosion.

Controls[edit]

  • Control Stick – Aim
  • Single Joy-Con Right Button – Rotate right
  • Single Joy-Con Bottom Button – Rotate left

In-game text[edit]

Rotate the panels and complete the circuit to charge up and attack Boss Sumo Bro with a bolt of electricity. Faster solutions create stronger bolts.
