The stage starts of with many coins and the moving platforms in the form of clouds. There is also a pipe (the only pipe in the level) in the second part of the stage; after going through it (if the player touches the [[Morph Bubble|morph bubble]]) the player can turn into [[Yoshi Helicopter]]. The third part of the stage is where the player has to find out how to use the rotate blocks which turn the [[! Blocks|! blocks]] on and off. The fourth and final part of the stage is where the screen automatically moves, and the background has also changed from dawn to dusk. The player must advance and reach the goal.  
The stage begins with Light Blue Yoshi standing on a cloud-like platform, with a [[Stork Stop]] nearby. He must navigate his way through other cloud-shaped platforms, some with faces on them. The platforms with a face make Light Blue Yoshi jump higher. After, the player reaches an area with a moving platform and some [[Cloud Drop]]s. Light Blue Yoshi then encounters some more cloud platforms along with some [[Item Balloon]]s. After a few more platforms, Light Blue Yoshi goes into another area, where more moving platforms await. A secret area where Light Blue Yoshi can become a [[Helicopter Yoshi|Helicopter]] to collect coins is also nearby. Then, after some more enemies, Light Blue Yoshi comes upon another Stork Stop. Soon after, Light Blue Yoshi finds himself in another area with yet another Stork Stop and a [[Checkpoint Ring|Middle Ring]]. There, he has to avoid a few enemies, as well as navigate his way through lots of platforms. The player then reaches the second middle ring, along with a new area that auto-scrolls. In this area, there are more cloud platforms, with Nipper Spores also appearing to halt Light Blue Yoshi's progress. Light Blue Yoshi then reaches a Stork Stop. After another enemy area, Yoshi reaches the [[Goal Ring|goal roulette]].

In the Clouds is the third level in World 4 in Yoshi's Island DS and the only level where the player can bounce on clouds. These clouds also make faces if Yoshi stands on them for a set period. This level's playable Yoshi is the Light Blue Yoshi.

Layout

The stage begins with Light Blue Yoshi standing on a cloud-like platform, with a Stork Stop nearby. He must navigate his way through other cloud-shaped platforms, some with faces on them. The platforms with a face make Light Blue Yoshi jump higher. After, the player reaches an area with a moving platform and some Cloud Drops. Light Blue Yoshi then encounters some more cloud platforms along with some Item Balloons. After a few more platforms, Light Blue Yoshi goes into another area, where more moving platforms await. A secret area where Light Blue Yoshi can become a Helicopter to collect coins is also nearby. Then, after some more enemies, Light Blue Yoshi comes upon another Stork Stop. Soon after, Light Blue Yoshi finds himself in another area with yet another Stork Stop and a Middle Ring. There, he has to avoid a few enemies, as well as navigate his way through lots of platforms. The player then reaches the second middle ring, along with a new area that auto-scrolls. In this area, there are more cloud platforms, with Nipper Spores also appearing to halt Light Blue Yoshi's progress. Light Blue Yoshi then reaches a Stork Stop. After another enemy area, Yoshi reaches the goal roulette.
