Miracle Peach was a 4-page manga series published on the kindergarten-aimed magazine Gakushū Yōchien (学習幼稚園) published by Shogakukan, written and illustrated by Yukio Sawada. It run from January 1988 to August of the same year. It stars Princess Peach and her friends spending time while she tries to solve the situation with her magic staff, the Kinoko Statis.
Content
- Episode 1 (January 1988): Peach, Mario, and Toad go ice-skating. Bowser joins them, but the ice breaks under his weight. While Mario swims to rescue him, Peach casts a spell to solidify the ice, accidentally trapping the two inside.
- Episode 2 (February 1988): Mario creates a Bowser-shaped snowman. Peach gives life to it to make fun of it, but the snowman rolls in the snow, increasing in size and squashing Mario. Peach quickly uses her magic to melt it.
- Episode 3 (March 1988): The queen asks Peach to take care of her old Hinamatsuri dolls while she runs a quick errand. Mario and Bowser offer to help her with the task, but a fight breaks out between the two and the dolls are broken. Seeing her mother arriving, Peach uses her Kinoko Statis to turn Mario and Bowser into Hinamatsuri dolls, hoping her mother does not realize the difference.
- Episode 4 (April 1988): Peach gives herself a cape to fly in the sky like Superman, but a couple of mean Koopa Paratroopas tears the cape and she plummets to the ground. A cloud saves her and she gets revenge on the two Paratroopas by turning their shells into stone.
- Episode 7 (July 1988): After reading Cinderella, Peach decides to enter the book, but when she asks Mario to pick it up, he accidentally grabs a sumo magazine and the two are transported inside of it.
- Episode 8 (August 1988): Mario and Peach are having fun in making paper boats. Peach uses her magic to enlarge one, but then Bowser and a Koopa Troopa steal it and run to the lake to use it, only for it to soak and sink.
