Waldoughs are walrus-like members of the Snowmads and common enemies in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port. Waldoughs have brown skin and blonde whiskers and wear green-striped shorts belted with a rope. Their name is a portmanteau of the words "walrus" and "dough", referring to their rotund bodies.
Similarly to Tiki Dooms from Donkey Kong Country Returns, Waldoughs have a robust stature and walk slowly from side to side. If the Kongs encounter a Waldough, the enemy flings its arm and damages the Kongs, which takes away one heart point of damage. The Kongs can defeat a Waldough by either jumping or rolling into it three times, throwing a barrel at it, or hitting them with Rambi.
Although they are not the most recurrent enemy, Waldoughs are reserved as the primary antagonistic race of the Snowmads. This is shown by their leader, Lord Fredrik, being a Waldough, and by the amount of walrus-themed imagery throughout the game; for example, in Dynamite Dash, various TNT Barrels are emblazoned with a walrus skull.
Waldoughs have deep voices and use the same voice clips as Tucks, albeit lower-pitched, when they get slightly hit by a Ground Pound.
