The Lucky Charm. It is like a coin with a Game Guy face on it.
The Lucky Charm is a special item only found in Mario Party 3. It could not be bought in an item shop or won in an item game, only by buying an Item Bag at an item shop or meeting Toad on an Item Space.
When used, the Lucky charm will summon Game Guy to which character the player chooses (even themself), forcing them to risk it all in a Game Guy mini-game.The main purpose of the Lucky Charm is 1 of 2 risky descisions:
- The player uses it on their oponents (usually the one with the highest amount of coins), hoping that they will lose it all.
- The player uses the charm on themself, hoping to increase their coin amount
