Power Flowers are ability granting flowers found only in Super Mario 64 DS. Their functions seems to replace Mario's cap abilities, with an extra addition. When Mario uses a Power Flower, he is able to float for a short time. At certain times, the ! Block will give Mario a feather which will allow him to fly (same as Wing Cap). If Luigi uses one, he becomes partially immaterial and can move through certain objects to get to new places (same as Vanish Cap). If Wario uses one, he become metal and can walk at normal speed underwater and can withstand great winds (same as Metal Cap). When Yoshi uses a Power Flower, he is able to breathe fire (does not come from the original game.)
