Thus he is the one who actually informs Banjo that [[Gruntilda]] kidnapped his sister. Throughout the game Bottles will teach Banjo and [[Kazooie]] moves to help them defeat the witch. Bottles uses [[Molehill]]s to teach the duo.

He is beating Kazooie, but she cheats by saying Gruntilda is at the window. When Gruntilda actually does come back, Bottles think it is a trick, so stays in the house as Gruntilda blows it up. However, much in the form of [[Wrinkly Kong]], Bottles does not completely vanish but becomes a spirit. He will help Banjo and Kazooie remember their moves from the previous game. The [[player]] can view Bottles' decaying body lying on the ground, and when talked to, Bottles' ghost will tell them to hurry up and bring his body back to life. He is finally revived at the end of the game, and returns home in time for supper.
