Topmaniac is fought in an arena surrounded by electric barriers. Mario must jump on top of Topmaniac, which knocks him out and causes his spikes to retract. Mario can then perform a [[Star Spin]] to knock Topmaniac into the electric barriers, which damages it and wakes it up. This must be repeated three times to defeat Topmaniac. Damaging Topmaniac also causes lesser Topmen to appear.He jumps into the middle when hurt.In Melty Molten Galaxy it is shown he died.

Topmaniac is a boss in the game Super Mario Galaxy. It resembles a red spinning top, and is the leader of the Topman tribe. It is fought twice, once in the Battlerock Galaxy and once in the Dreadnought Galaxy.

Trivia

  • Topmaniac shares the same boss music as King Kaliente and Bugaboom.
  • It seems that, during production of Super Mario Galaxy, Topmaniac was originally going to be fought in the Melty Molten Galaxy, which had several elements from the Dreadnought Galaxy.
  • Topmaniac's UFO may be the same one that attacked Toad Town.
