Flarets are round fireballs that Bowletta shoots in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They are not living species, but are more like items. If the player does not defeat the Flarets that Bowletta creates, Bowletta will reabsorb them and heal herself. Sometimes, Bowletta will not reabsorb some and leave a few on the battle field.
They cannot be defeated with Firebrand or Thunderhand, and instead of hurting the Flarets, the brothers will instead heal the Flarets. They can only be defeated with a hammer.
