Phantamanta is a boss in Super Mario Sunshine. It's a pink silhouette ghost-like stingray that attacks on Sirena Beach. When hit by water, it splits up. After a while, all the clones turn purple and rush towards Mario.
It leaves a trail of green and yellow electric sludge goop. If there is even a pixel of it left, Mario can get electrocuted when he touches it.
