Super Star is an alternate name for Star(man), and it's also a power-up item that offers invincibility. The fact that it provides Superstar Mario instead of Invincible Mario is essentially moot by this point, as Tanooki Mario can now be gained from either a Tanooki Suit or a Super Leaf (not to mention the version from the Statue Leaf), there are two distinct versions of Ice Mario from an Ice Flower depending on the game, there are multiple forms of Tiny Wario, etc. The only thing going for it is that the sprite doesn't have its usual eyes, but neither do the Super Mushrooms in ''Super Mario Land'' and the original ''Super Mario Bros.'' | |||

Split Yoshi's Super Star from Mario Party's Super Star[edit]
This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit any of the sections in the proposal. If you wish to discuss the article, do so in a new header below the proposal. |
Split 8-0
OK seriously? I don't have a clue why these to are merged. They are obviously two different things, as Yoshi's Super Star is an object and MP's Super Star is just a term. I find it completely ridiculous that two completely different things are merged.

Disambiguation[edit]
Just look at the article about thing on the top of the page. It's ridiculous. Shouldn't we have a disambiguation page for Super Star? It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 21:18, 28 March 2013 (EDT)
Delete Super Star[edit]

Delete 7-0
(this proposal is not the same as this one, so please don't get confused)
Only MarioWiki can write 5 paragraphs describing a very simple, easy to understand term used in Mario Party games.
But seriously, why do we need a page for this? What exactly is its purpose? This article is exactly the same as creating the page Winner or Champion on the wiki. We don't do that of course, but why should this be exempt from the others? It's exactly like that except it has a fancy name. All of the information on the page is mostly padding anyway.

Delete[edit]
- Baby Luigi (talk) Maybe some people will get clueless once this page is deleted on what "Super Star" means, idk
- Glowsquid (talk) per everything written above.
- LeftyGreenMario (talk) "Superstar" is this, but Toad is that, and Mario and his friends do things while arguing and doing things, and blah blah blah. Let's create an article on You and 're and Winner! instead.
- King Pikante (talk) Per all.
- BowserJunior (talk) Per all.
- MortonBoo99 (talk) Per LGM and proposal.
- Binarystep (talk) Per all, especially LGM.

Merge with Super Star (power-up)[edit]
This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit any of the sections in the proposal. If you wish to discuss the article, do so in a new header below the proposal. |
Merge 4-0
Super Star is an alternate name for Star(man), and it's also a power-up item that offers invincibility. The fact that it provides Superstar Mario instead of Invincible Mario is essentially moot by this point, as Tanooki Mario can now be gained from either a Tanooki Suit or a Super Leaf (not to mention the version from the Statue Leaf), there are two distinct versions of Ice Mario from an Ice Flower depending on the game, there are multiple forms of Tiny Wario, etc. The only thing going for it is that the sprite doesn't have its usual eyes, but neither do the Super Mushrooms in Super Mario Land and the original Super Mario Bros.
