Shroom Kritters are found in [[Fungi Forest]] during the day. Similar to the attack of [[Klobber]]s, they will wait in the ground, looking like normal mushrooms. If a [[Kong]] approaches it, the Shroom Kritter will jump out at them and attack. When they attack, the Kritter will chase the Kong through the forest, and the Kong can take some damage if touched by it. Shroom Kritters are fairly weak enemies and a few attacks can defeat one. A Shroom Kritter can be defeated also from afar by blasting it with a weapon or an [[Orange Grenade]].

Shrooms[1] are large, light-blue Kremlings in Donkey Kong 64. They wear a mushroom costume on their head with a small, rectangular hole to peek out of. Shrooms are encountered in Fungi Forest at daytime, where one waits in the ground, taking on the appearance of a normal mushroom, but when a Kong approaches, the Shroom jumps up to reveal itself and runs after the player character, trying to hit them with its mushroom head. Shrooms are weak enemies as only one hit defeats them.

Profiles[edit]

  • Prima guide: From a distance, these may look like ordinary mushrooms, but beware of their surprise attack. This baddie will bury itself and pop out at an unsuspecting Kong. One hit will plant this fungus back in the ground.[1]
