Flashes, also known as Ice Mapu[1] or ice basher,[1] are elemental ghosts and a variant of Purple Punchers in Luigi's Mansion and its remake. Their heart is encased in ice, and can be melted only by fire granted from a Fire Elemental Ghost before the Flash can become vulnerable to the Poltergust 3000. Flashes appear in the Hidden Room, Kitchen and Roof, and two are in the Butler's Room during the blackout.
