The '''Dictionary''' is a special item found in ''[[Paper Mario]]''. When Mario gets the third [[Star Spirit]], [[Skolar]]; Mario and his partners go back to [[Toad Town]], as usual. He is surprised that the [[Shy Guy]]s appear from [[Shy Guy's Toy Box]] as they attempt to steal Toads' items and doing pranks all over the town. When Mario and his partners approaches near to [[Russ T.]]'s Home, one of the Shy Guys attempted to steal his favorite dictionary and hid it in Shy Guy's Toy Box. Without it, Russ T. will lose IQ points and won't tell Mario tips about the [[Mushroom Kingdom]] secrets. The item is at the eastern end of Green Station.

When Mario returns it to Russ T., he will be glad as he rewards Mario a single [[Star Piece]]. Russ T. can't read the [[Mystery Note]] Mario found unless he recovers the Dictionary from Shy Guy's Toy Box.

Depending on which [[Princess Peach]] tells [[Bowser]] what Mario hates in the Chapter 3 intermission, the treasure chest is guarded by either a [[Pokey]], a [[Koopatrol]], or a [[Super Soda]]. The Dictionary is a key item found in Paper Mario. It belongs to Russ T., and it is stolen by Shy Guys after Mario rescues Skolar. Without it, Russ T. claims that he will lose IQ points, and he is unable to read the Mystery Note. He additionally cannot give out information to Mario until his Dictionary is returned.

The Dictionary is found in a treasure chest in the far east portion of the Green Station area.
