A '''Timer''' is an item in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''. Pick up this item to slow down the flow of time for all other players for a short time. Occasionally the Timer will have a different effect and only slow down the one who grabbed it, or it may slow down everyone. Oddly enough, the trophy information states that the timer always benefits the user, although it is common for it to backfire.
