Template:Minigame-infobox Boo Tag is both a 4-player and a duel mini-game in Mario Party DS. In it, the player must avoid the competitor with the Boo. The player with the least time of it being right behind them wins.

Gameplay

To play, a Boo appears and tags onto a player. The first Boo that appears will tag the player that starts in the upper left corner. That player must then try to touch the other players passing the Boo on to them. When the timer has 10 seconds left, another Boo will appear and tag a different player, increasing the difficulty of the game. The other players should try to avoid the player with the Boo by running around the field and hiding behind the golden bars, coins, jewels, gems, sword and other items. However, the players with the Boos can run through the obstacles, making it harder for other players to avoid them. At the end, the player with the least time being tagged by the Boos wins.

Controls

Rules

Keep the Boos off your back. Tag a rival to lose your Boo. After time runs out, whoever has spent the least amount of time with the Boos is the winner.

Tips

If you have a Boo on your back, chase players until you tag someone to transfer your Boo.

Ending

In the end of this mini-game, the players are near the front of the treasure chest, with the winner performing the dance they do every time they win a mini-game.
