Template:Levelbox Fliprus Lake, or Frosted Glacier-Fliprus, is the bonus level of Frosted Glacier, accessed by finding the secret exit of Swaying Ghost House. It is located on an isolated mountain near Peach's Castle. Clearing this level, the player has access to a Spine Coaster leading to Rock-Candy Mines.
Gameplay
In this level, Mario must battle with several snowball-tossing Flipruses. Throughout the course, there are many floating crates in the lake, that can be used as platforms. Most parts of the level have slippery ice ground and River Piranha Plants.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Off-screen, above three moving Brick Blocks and a red Koopa Troopa.
- Star Coin 2: Above the second Fliprus on an up-and-down platform, there is a green Warp Pipe (picture). It takes Mario to a small area with two Flipruses and a Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3: The player must use floating crates to get the third Star Coin, found inside the last piece of ceiling of the level.
