Template:Item-infobox The Prison Key is an item found in Bowser's Castle in Paper Mario, during A Star-Powered Showdown!. It allows Mario to free the Toads imprisoned in one of the castle's dungeons after Bowser lifted Peach's Castle atop his castle during the party at the beginning of the game. To obtain it, Mario must defeat a Koopatrol found right outside the cell.
