Ion the Prize is a Duel mini-game in Mario Party 8.

Introduction

The two players will be in some sort of space lab, in capsules. A yellow see-saw like thing will appear above it. The game will then begin.

Gameplay

The objective is to sort as many green and pink balls into their proper containers, by tilting the yellow plate, the Wii Remote. The balls will be falling down at a steady rate, and the colors have no pattern. At the last five seconds, the speed of the balls falling will increase by a lot. The player that gets the most in to the right container wins.

Ending

The metallic doors behind the winner will open, and the capsule will go zooming away.
