- "Vehicle" redirects here. For the obstacles from the Mario Kart series, see Car (obstacle) and Cargo Truck. For the category of vehicles found in the Mario franchise, see Category:Vehicles.
Template:Form-infobox The Car[1][2] (also known as the Vehicle[3]) is a form that Yoshis can transform into in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake by touching a Morph Bubble containing its picture.
A Car moves faster than a regular Yoshi and is smaller, enabling it to fit through small openings. Pressing will stretch its wheels for a short time, making it possible to avoid enemies or reach higher platforms. When repeatedly done near a wall, this also enables the player to "climb" up the wall.
The Turbo Yoshi car that Yoshi possesses in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! bears some resemblance to the Car. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, artwork of the Car appears as a Sticker.
The Car appears in volume 14 of the Super Mario-Kun. It drives around, but Baby Mario, as Superstar Mario, notices it and gives it a redesign.
