Template:Space-infobox The Basic Space, called the Normal Space in the instruction booklet[1], is a space commonly found on Duel Maps in Mario Party 3. If a player lands on a Basic Space, they will "own" it, and have their face appear on the space. If the other player lands on this space from now on, then they'll lose an amount of Coins (depending on game turns) to the player who owns the space. If a player lands on their own space, they will get the same amount of Coins. If Toad is one of the player's partners, the player will not lose Coins when landing on the opponent's space.
