Personally, I think this page should be moved to Mario Party 1. Smiddle_sig_conangator.gif AAAA! æ 05:17, 2 November 2006 (EST)

Technically, the official name of this game is "Mario Party". Thus the title shall remain as is. -- Son of Suns

The Toad picture (http://www.mariowiki.com/Image:Mptoad.gif), is it really needed? There's already 2 other Toad pictures, and it is very small. -Thedude3445, 2:50 AM EST

It's game artwork, and it's different from the other two so yes. I say keep it.

my bad, happy now? - Mario Gamer

Pardon me, but I'm new to this wiki, and I noticed that most of the articles for Mario Part are hideously written and have a severe lack of detail. Could I rewrite them?

- Man-Frog

Well, this is a wiki, so go ahead. Time Questions 13:55, 14 August 2008 (EDT)

Missing info

Why isn't there anything about Luigi's Boiler Room, Bowser's Magma Mountain or Eternal Star? Tails777 (talk)

Beta Elements

I think we should add a new article about the beta elements of this game. There are some minigames that were never added to the final version such as "Same Game", "Yoshi no Shitaawase" and Bumper Ball Mazes 1,2,and 3 were obviously supposed to be Single Player Mini-Games before the final version. Also the gameplay video before the game was released looks different than the final version. --MarioMaster2011 15:59, 3 July 2011 (EDT)MarioMaster2011

Oh My God!

In the Japanese version of this and Mario Party 2, Luigi and Wario say "Oh my God!" when they are disappointed. Is it notable to include this information somewhere? Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 21:04, 19 March 2012 (EDT)

Whack-a-Plant music reused in Super Mario Sunshine?

In Super Mario Sunshine, when Mario enters the underground pipes, the tune changes to a remix of the World 1-2 theme. I was recently playing Mario Party, and I've discovered that the theme heard in Super Mario Sunshine is a faster-paced version of the 1-2 remix in Mario Party heard in minigames like Whack-a-Plant. Is this notable? BNK [E|T|C] 19:24, 21 August 2012 (EDT)

Move to the Mambo?

Never heard of it, no article, no citation, no pictures, nothing about it on here except that it conveniently does not appear in the US version. Yeah, this isn't real. Magikrazy (talk)

Disregard that. I thought it was a game as opposed to a song. Magikrazy (talk)

Someone have the maps for Magma Mountain and Eternal Star? YoshiCGicon.pngTSUNAMIArtwork of Plessie with the four playable characters, from Super Mario 3D World.

Typo in the game's file

There is a typo in the game where if more than one character wins, it will still have the singular "WINS!" underneath their names, such as this example: DK, LUIGI, PEACH WINS! 99.195.64.148 22:39, 8 August 2014 (EDT)

Translation Comparing

So ein Mist Is German for "Such a crap!", Verdammt is German for "Darn it". So it makes more sense to say it means "Such a crap!" then "Darn it!". Thefamman (talk) 15:49, 21 May 2017 (EDT)

Used Google Translate right now and it could also mean "Blast it!" – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 15:56, 21 May 2017 (EDT)
Google Translate says both. https://imgur.com/a/aIyl1 --Super Mario Fan 67 (TCS) 17:10, 21 May 2017 (EDT)
Google Translate's kind of unreliable, though. "Such a crap!" is more accurate. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 17:51, 21 May 2017 (EDT)

Gloves?

Despite it being as common "trivia" as ever, to the point where it's basically common knowledge that everyone and their pet gassy capybara is aware of, I've never actually seen anyone take and upload images of those gloves Nintendo gave out as a result of the legal things about the game. Should we look into that? ~Camwood777 22:12, 18 August 2017 (EDT)

Strategies for Minigames?

This goes for mods and admins. Is it okay if I put strategies on all the minigame pages of MP1 and MP2 (maybe the later games)? Edit this with your response.

(This is an identical response to here) No, we do not write our articles like strategy guides, since strategy is subjective and it changes depending on what kind of opponents you are facing, whether it's humans or varying levels of CPUs.
