Give Me a Brake! is the Item minigame of Western Land in Mario Party 2. Its name is a pun on the phrase "give me a break" and brakes used to stop vehicles.

Gameplay

When the train starts to move around the player, the player has to stop the train by switching the lever to stop. Timing is essential because the train takes a near-full lap to decelerate to a stop once the lever is pulled. The player gets the item the arrow is pointing at. If the train stops on Baby Bowser, the player gets nothing. If the player loses by running out of time, the train simply stops by itself on Baby Bowser.

Controls

  • A Button – Pull brake

In-game text
