Diddy & Dixie Barrels,[1] also known as Character Barrels,[2] are objects in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest only. These Barrel Kannons can be entered only by Diddy Kong or Dixie Kong, depending on whom it depicts, before blasting them out, though the other Kong follows them automatically. It is possible for Diddy or Dixie to alternatively enter their respective barrel if they enter it via a team up throw. A Diddy & Dixie Barrel sometimes appears at an End of Level Target, and it can be entered to land on the target with enough force to earn a prize.
